Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment history cards for all machines
  • Plumbing, electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment
  • Monitor and test water treatment operations
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and any additional tasks that may be required and assigned by Supervisors/Management

Qualifications

  • Commitment and passion to maximizing guest satisfaction in each stage of the guest experience, particularly as it pertains to exceptional standards of maintenance and repair
  • Demonstrate willingness/enjoyment to attend to the needs of others
  • Outstanding attention to detail – both in regards to maintenance specifications, preventative maintenance and cleaning practices and the level of attention required
  • Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and repair
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and HVAC equipment
  • Previous carpentry experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems
  • Ability to read blue prints and sketching floor plans
  • General knowledge of WHMIS and health & safety procedures
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
  • Proficient with power and hand tools
  • Demonstrate the ability to use the Lockout/Tag out system before performing any maintenance work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Maintenance capacity, Electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic experience preferred
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e. lifting 50lbs, climbing ladders)
  • Related College Diploma or the equivalent in education and experience.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
