Retail Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically welcome and greet guests
  • Delegate tasks to Retail Sales Associates
  • Ensure daily sales targets are being met
  • Provide assistance to Hershey/Always Refreshing Soda Shop when required
  • Provide product information, selection, suggestion and sales
  • End of day billing and payment settlement
  • Maintaining public health, sanitation and proactive health and safety standards
  • Complete inventory and restock sections and supplies
  • Other duties as assigned


What you’ll need as a Retail Supervisor:

Experience: 1+ years’ supervisor experience required, preferably in a retail work environment

Education: Secondary School Graduate Diploma preferred

Other Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and conversational ability in order to effortlessly provide guest experience and encourage both cross-promotion/sales of related products
  • Approachable and establishes immediate credibility with guests and staff – leads all staff by example
  • Must be efficient and accurate with receiving, merchandising, product returns, POS, cash auditing and handling
  • Working knowledge of computerized Point of Sales system
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with guests and employees both internally and externally
  • Employ persuasion and influence to initiate and/or resolve matters
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
