Team Spirit in Action: Fundraising, Fun, and a Big Splash!

At Canadian Niagara Hotels Inc., we believe in the power of teamwork—not just in delivering incredible guest experiences but also in making a difference in our community. This holiday season, our team came together to support Project Share’s Sponsor A Family program in a big way, and in doing so, we set a new company record for giving!

Through our collective efforts, we proudly sponsored 17 families, including three large families, one of which had five children. The generosity of our staff and supporters went above and beyond, ensuring that these families could enjoy a holiday meal and gifts tailored to their wishes and needs.

But we didn’t stop at just giving—we made it fun! To rally the team, Andre Ross, Director of Operations for Waterpark, Attractions, Retail laid down a challenge:

  • If we raised enough to sponsor four families (including at least two families of four), he would take a ride down a tube slide in his regular work clothes.
  • If we raised enough to sponsor five families (including at least two families of four and one family of three), he would go down the tube slide—or jump into an outdoor pool—in a full suit with a bow on his head.

Well, the team more than delivered! Not only did we surpass the goal, but we broke our own records for participation. And true to his word, Andre took the plunge—fully suited up and bow-topped! The moment was captured in a series of hilarious and inspiring images, showcasing the enthusiasm and commitment of our team.
